LO3 Apply audio editing

Image
We used audio transition effects such as constant power and constant gain as a way to transition the sound and music we used in our film. We did this because it helped the music and  audio to flow well within the film so it didn't sound like the audio levels were dropping and rising constantly, it gave a nice effect and allowed audio to be heard with the music being at a good level. We used horror sounds to connote horror and to add thrill to the film itself, we did this at certain parts of the film where action was happening and bad things were going on, this is to over exaggerate the fact so the audience feel the horror and thrill more. We used adobe Audition to remove the ambient sound that the mic was picking up we then added our own sound to make the clip sound and look more fluid. LO3 Screenshots of effects and video time line

We used the roll effect to create a credits scene at the end of the film    This is what the final video timeline looks like. we used effects such as dip to black and white as they offered seamless transitions into the next scene or shot. Here we separated different frames and changed the colour of certain frames In order to present Ellis's character losing control of his emotions. We took this editing technique from generic conventions of other horror films such as Insidious, and The Nun. We did this in post as we did not have the ability to use LED lights on set. However this works just as well and Creates the same effect which is to notify the audience about how his character is becoming unhinged.  This is our examples of us using Premier pro to edit our audio alongside our foo...
